This weeks song (10 of 12) was musically composed by Soce the Elemental Wizard and lyrically composed by yours truly.

The video was made by Jason Hennesy and Grace Locke-Ward, starring her cats Iris, Andy, Evie, and Franklin.

I was really depressed when we made the video, some sort of solar rays or weird weather. I spent 3 hours moaning on the couch before the shoot.

Luke Tweedy saved the song from becoming a disaster once again at Flat Black Studios with his magic computers.

This week’s song features a beat by The Rhombus. Coolzey, once again, espouses his philosophy and I throws a wacky video together with public domain footage found on the internet.

This one was fun for me cuz I decided to just do whatever I wanted for the video – I like how it all turned out. I’m starting to think that we need to do this every week for about a year before we really start getting weird, though.

Week #8 video:

Zach asked me to take care of this week’s post. I don’t have much to say about it, except for that I am somewhat scarred from making the video. Zach had this to say:

I was thinking how Copy always says O.H. Ten for Ohio, when I was writing the rhyme, and then I was struck with brilliance. I think it’ll stick for my Iowa people.

I’m sitting in the psrecords office at the Bonnell building in Fairfield, Iowa.

The psrecords office is hot – it’s like frying an egg hot. I don’t know how to control the heat – I assume there’s no controlling it. It is out of control.

But I feel pretty good anyway. I’m pretending that it’s summer in Vegas and the sound I hear from outside is not the sound of the grim dripping of a lingering January ice storm, but rather the pleasant gurgling of a lurid casino fountain. Not really. But I’m pretending to pretend that. Shit, maybe there’s something wrong with me.

But anyway, Chloe and I made a movie – It’s premiering at the artwalk in Fairfield on Feb. 6th. here’s the trailer:
